In May 1998 we drove 500 kilometres north of Warrnambool to visit
the Willandara Lakes World Heritage Area.
  At Lake Mungo it is possible to see artifacts 10,000 years old,
uncovered in the sands by the last rain.
 
Spirit of Tasmania.
 In November 1997
we took our new
Subaru Forester
to Tasmania on the
Spirit of Tasmania.
The Bass Strait
crossing took 10 hours,
from Melbourne to Devonport.
